UK Maritime Authority: Oil Tanker Targeted by Projectile in the Strait of Hormuz

Al-Taj News – The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said Sunday that an oil tanker was targeted by an unidentified projectile while transiting into the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday.

In an advisory note, the authority added that the incident occurred 12 nautical miles north of the Omani city of Khasab, noting that no casualties or environmental impact were reported.
